Tara Chabis is a dedicated teacher at Blossom & Grow Fine Arts Preschool with more than 15 years of experience working with children. Her background includes five years as a lead preschool teacher at a childcare academy, as well as three and a half years as both a lead preschool teacher and gymnastics instructor. Throughout her career, Tara has worked with children ranging from infancy through age 12 and has developed a deep appreciation for building meaningful relationships not only with her students, but also with their parents and families.
Tara is especially passionate about children’s social and emotional development. She believes meaningful learning begins with connection and that children are best able to grow academically when they first feel safe, understood, and valued. This philosophy guides her approach to creating a nurturing classroom where each child is supported as an individual. Her passion for teaching young children also led her to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis on birth through third grade, and a minor in Special Education.
Outside the classroom, Tara and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters, ages 15 and seven. Their lively household also includes two dogs, three cats, and plenty of fish! Tara loves cooking, traveling, attending concerts, spending time outdoors with her family, and reading whenever she can find a quiet moment.
Tara is excited to bring her experience, warmth, and child-centered approach to the Blossom & Grow community and looks forward to creating strong connections with each of her students and their families.
